I'm going on a motorcycle trip this weekend. My Dad, 2 uncles, a cousin and I will be riding our our bikes from Nola up into Mississippi and back down over the course of Saturday and Sunday. See our planned route here: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

I'm renting a Harley Davidson Sportster 883, my uncle and cousin will be on either a
Honda Goldwing 1800 or a Harley Davidson Electra Glide. My Dad and the other uncle will be riding their Honda Shadows.
It'll be the first motorcycle trip for 3 of us. Should be fun.

Looks like fun. My only MC trip through the great state of LA was 2 years ago. NO in August is almost unbearable. Talk about humidity. But all in all I had a great time. Just wish you had the option of removing your helmet if you want to. Note to self: wear white helmet next time. Leave black one at home.

I have a white helmet and pretty breathable gear. Lived in this humidity my whole life. Good thing there is a pool at our hotel. We've had relatively low humidity yesterday, but it is supposed to be back up this weekend.

Don't forget to bring a towel!
